International Focus on Healing was founded in 2016 to fill a huge void in Dental Implant Training. Dental implants have become the state of the art solution to the loss of teeth. The problem we identified was that all implant courses concentrate on the surgical component and for all practical purposes dismiss the restorative phase. What value is an implant if it is not restored? We can argue which phase is more important but, everyone knows one without the other is useless.  We at INFOH agree with you that not only should the surgical portion be adequately covered but the diagnostic phase, the site work and ultimately the restorative phase be thoroughly covered.

The continuum will have three sessions each a week long. The focus will begin with what most agree is by far the most important phase, Diagnosing the case.  Preparing the implant site is next which may include extractions, grafting, soft and hard tissue contouring and finally the placement of the implant. It is during this clinical phase that future success and failure of your Implant treatments begin. After integration, the impression and temporization followed by the finished prosthesis is completed. 

Don’t be fooled by courses that “Guarantee” the number of implants you will place.  Ask if you will be around to restore the case?  Ask if the treatment is actually appropriate?  Ask if you would treat anyone like this?  Ask if you will ever have a patient that would pay for treatment like this?  Here is a recent case in which the doctor met the number of implant placed guarantee. We are not sure what your answers to the above questions would be.
